We have a number of events you can get involved with each year. From challenge events to workshops and community events. All funds raised from these events support our work with children, young people and families on the Isle of Man.
Picnic ‘N’ Plates - painting workshop
We are looking forward to welcoming you and your children to join us at The Children’s Centre this Easter for our Picnic ‘N’ Plates painting workshop event to raise funds for our charity.
Fun on the Farm
The Children’s Centre invite you to explore our amazing farm. We’re tucked away just outside of Douglas on the Old Castletown Road. Our farm is home to animals, three polytunnels, a herb and vegetable garden, an orchard, bee hives and a wild space.

Come and enjoy the relaxing and restoring space at Wallberry Farm and paint a plate.
2024 Race the Sun sponsored by Atla Group
Race the Sun is a relay race like no other.
The task is simple - starting in Peel, at sunrise (05:09), your team must complete a lap of the dramatic 100 mile island coastal footpath before the sun sets (21:22).
The course follows the 'Raad ny Foillan' our stunning coastal footpath circumventing our island with beautiful scenery, a range of terrains significant height gain.
Cycle Challenge
Our 2024 Cycling Challenge will be Montpellier to Nice via the Southern Alps and taking in Stages 18 & 19 of this year’s Tour de France.
Board Games Social
The board games evening will be buzzing with excitement as participants gather to engage in an evening of strategic fun and friendly competition.

Back by popular demand. We are looking forward to welcoming you and your children to join us at The Children’s Centre for our annual event to celebrate Pancake Day and raise funds for our charity.

Come and enjoy the relaxing and restoring space at Wallberry Farm with an afternoon of festive fun to paint two ceramic baubles. We will provide the baubles, paint and Christmas cheer, our team will be on hand to give as much or little guidance as you would like.

We are delighted to invite you to this years much loved Letter to Santa event.
Similar to previous years children will be able to write their letter and take a stroll out with our farm elves to the magical Hobbit House to post to Santa.

The islands only off road triathlon. Located at Cringle, In the South of the island the swim takes place in the reservoir over a 400m course, followed by a 10k bike ride using the awesome trails around the plantation. The final element is a 5km scenic run using the tracks in the plantation. Due to popularity of last 3 years a duathlon is included in the event.

Our annual must do for groups or corporate teams. This event is incredibly popular each year and is a fantastic evening of evening of rivalry, teamwork and fun.

Mini beast morning
Led by our amazingly talented practitioner Llinos , children will learn fascinating facts all about mini beasts and how to find them. They will be encouraged to get stuck in and hunt around. They will forage for materials to make there own bug hotel , take part in a quiz and create a bee friendly wildflower bomb!

A great day out suitable for all ages. Unfortunately we can not allow dogs on site at anytime.
The session is self-lead and runs from 10.00-14.00 on the 12th and 19th April.

TCS London Marathon
The London Marathon had an extraordinary impact since beginning in 1981. It's one of the top five World Marathon Majors!
If you're lucky to take on the physical race, the atmosphere at the London Marathon is truly inspiring, with runners of all abilities and from all walks of life coming together. It's broadcast live on the BBC, and the on-course refreshments, live music and sea of 650,000 cheering supporters will all help you get to that finish line.
Manx 3 Peaks
We are excited to announce that our 3rd Manx 3 Peaks Challenge, supported by Crowe, is to go ahead on Sunday 2nd October.
The walk/trek will begin at sea level in Ramsey and then you will walk/trek and conquer North Barrule, Snaefell and finally, Beinn Y Phott, finishing on Laxey prom, and covers a distance of around 22Km with elevation of 1,042metres
GraniteMann 2022
GraniteMann is the only off road Triathlon in the Isle of Man, and is this year supported by ATLA Group.
Located at Cringle in the South of the Island, the swim will take place in the reservoir over a 400m course, followed by a 10km mountain bike ride and the final element will be a 5km scenic trail run, both cycle and run using the awesome tracks in the plantation.
