Full Time Practitioner Role

Are you ready to work with parents, children, animals and a fantastic team on a 17 acre farm site? At The Children’s Centre, we’re not just colleagues; we’re a family dedicated to supporting children in our community and to nurturing each other.

We are looking to welcome an enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated individual to join our lively team as a full time Children and Family Practitioner. The role requires you to provide advice and support to children, young people and families through community-based activities and rural education projects at our farm.

As a full time Practitioner you will be required to work flexibly over 7 days. Our core hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm but we’ll sometimes need to you swap days and work at weekends.

The primary focus for this role is to work with families where there are children and parents/carers, facing challenge. You must be confident in dealing with different personalities in emotionally volatile situations. 

You will preferably have experience in education, social work, health, youth / play / early years work or similar.  Personal resilience, enthusiasm and the ability to engage and influence a variety of people is a must together with the confidence to deal with difficult situations. A full driving licence and access to own vehicle is a must.

Term Time Practitioner Role
