We’re excited to be bringing this event to the island for the second year in 2023. Open to runners of all abilities wishing to take part. With the aim of being an open an inclusive event for everyone and to bring communities together, we invite any Manx charity, club or association (sporting or not) to encourage their supporters to participate in the event and raise funds for their chosen local cause.

The 2023 event will include:

• A Fun Run (1 mile for any ability aged 6+) around Mooragh Park

• A Half Marathon (13.1 miles for individual participants aged 17+)

• A Team Full Marathon (26.2 miles total, teams of 4 only, each leg approx. 6.5 miles, participant’s 17+)

Entries this year includes a medal for the fun run and a t-shirt for the half marathon and team marathon.

The Route for the Half and Team Full Marathon:

The route will follow the same as the Manx Northern Course, with a start on Mooragh Promenade and finish at Ballacloan Stadium Ramsey.

For the Half Marathon the route will follow one lap of the full course (13.1 miles), the first 5 miles are undulating with a high point reached at about 4 miles. The rest of the course is mainly flat.

For the Team Full Marathon, the route will be two laps of the half marathon course with a team changeover point at Andreas.

• Leg one: Mooragh Promenade to Andreas

• Leg two: Andreas to Mooragh Promenade

• Leg three: Mooragh Promenade to Andreas

• Leg four: Andreas to Ballacloan Stadium Ramsey
