Adventure based activities (Mobex)

At The Children's Centre we have a full range of exciting and challenging outdoor and indoor activities to encourage, support and permit young people to push themselves beyond what they believed possible.

Making it possible

Taking part in Adventure based activities (Mobex) can include everything from kayaking to rock climbing, mountain biking to learning bushcraft. And there are indoor activities too, including craftwork, woodwork and metalwork. All of them are designed to push participants hard, to make them realise that they are capable of achieving a great deal more than they might believe.

It means pushing people out of their comfort zones, and in to places where achievement really matters. Learning a new skill, or mastering something that has worried you in the past, can open so many doors, and make so many goals a whole lot nearer.

 Skilled and trained

All the challenges of a Adventure based activities programme (Mobex) are in the hands of fully trained experts. The team are qualified to run all the parts of the Adventure based activities (Mobex) and adventures and will make sure that everyone taking part is safe at all times – without forgetting that Adventure based activities (Mobex) is also meant to be fun. In fact, Adventure based activities (Mobex) is the only holder on the Isle of Man of a UK Adventure Activity Licence.

To see how Adventure based activities (Mobex) can play a part in making all this happen please watch this short video.
