Getting involved in an event for The Children's Centre

We’ve all been there, so much happening and many charity events to get involved with. So why should you stop and think about getting involved in an event for The Children’s Centre?

We've all been there, so much happening and many charity events to get involved with. So why should you stop and think about getting involved in an event for The Children's Centre?

Because, simply signing up for an event could change a child's life forever.

Whether you decide to do something for The Children's Centre as a one off or support us regularly, your fundraising will be used to make a difference to a child on the Isle of Man. The demand on our service is greater than ever and we simply couldn't do what we do without you.

The Children's Centre is here for children, young people and families. Providing support, so they can grow in confidence and resilience when faced with challenges in their lives, such as; bullying, disengagement with learning, poverty, substance misuse, criminality, domestic violence and other family issues.

We step in where individuals may fall through the gaps of statutory provision and hope to prevent problems escalating. This has major benefits to our whole community as we want children, young people and families to be in a place where they can thrive, and feel positive about their lives.

Benefits to you from taking on a Children's Centre challenge event.
You will get a positive feeling from helping others, which in turn supports your own feelings of wellbeing. Knowing that all funds from registration fee to fundraising and sponsorship will make a real impact in someone's life.
Committing to a challenging event is a great way to get you motivated. Exercise is good for you and will help you both physically and with your mental health.

You could take on the challenge with your work colleagues, family or friends and create a real sense of being a team working towards a common goal, supporting each other along the way.
When you challenge yourself you never forget that feeling when you achieve your goal.
